Since the global return on 19 March 2026, the Fortress Night has been downloaded approximately 5.7 million times at Google Play. According to Appmagic data, Fortress Night was among the top 10 downloads in nine consecutive days and hit third on 21 March. On March 22, the Fortress Night climbed to second place (after Free Fire Max) and remained third for seven consecutive days.

The Fortress Night has not been on the global download list since Google Play’s return, and Google Play has never been the strongest channel for Fort House Night. App Store is the long-standing priority for its mobile end, where the 2018 game was launched in ios, and Google Play in 2020 (less than a year down). With the end of a series of legal proceedings, Fortress Night returned to App Store in May 2025 and joined the United States download list for the first two weeks. And it’s been 10 months since the game got back on board at Google Play. The Fortress Night had been on the list of Play stores in the United States for two days and then fell to the tenth place. In other regions, Fortress Night was at the top of the Brazilian download list for nine consecutive days and tops in Mexico for 10 consecutive days. Since its return, Mexico has led the world in its forward estimates of downloads, which have exceeded 800,000 since 19 March, representing 15 per cent of the global total. Brazil followed closely, accounting for nearly 15 per cent, and Turkey ranked third.

Since 19 March, the estimated revenue from Fort Night on Google Play is approximately $308,000. The first day of the global return generated only $6,000, but since then there has been a sustained increase in player spending, peaking at $36,000 on 28 March. During the first 11 days of return, the United States contributed 30 per cent of total income, Egypt 9 per cent, Mexico 8 per cent and Japan 7 per cent. Epic Gomes’s legal disputes, which are largely centred on “consumer-to-consumer” purchasing channels, are now much more common than in 2020. As a result, it is likely that some Andre users consume through Epic’s own web shop rather than Google Play or other channels. Moreover, the return of Fortress Night to Play did not amount to a return to the Android platform, since during the five-year ban, games could be downloaded from other shops on the Android platform. By contrast, the App Store ban meant that Fortress Night had been unable to play upstream of the iOS equipment.

On 19 March, Epic raised the price of V-Bucks, the virtual currency of the game, on the grounds of excessive cost, and reduced the amount of money the player received at various slots, which triggered a strong rebound by the player. At the time of the internal downsizing of Epic Games, the return of Fort Night to the moving end had also triggered a discussion as to whether the legal proceedings were ultimately worth it.
