According to the British Financial Times, the Trump Government is weighing whether or not to force abdication of its investment in an American game company. This may include requiring the sale of a large number of its shares in the Fort Night developer Epic Gomes and the Heroes Alliance developer Riot Gomes.

The call is currently holding approximately 28 per cent of the Epic Gomes shares and has undisclosed investments in games-related companies such as Discord. They also owned Riot Games in full and invested in foreign games such as the Larian studio (The Bod Gate 3 Control) and Remedy Enterprise (The Heart Killer Control). It also held most of the shares of Supercell, a tribal conflict developer. It is alleged that, although Supercell is based in Finland, it has a large number of United States users, and the Trump Government is also considering whether to compel the release of this share.

For many years, the call has been reviewed by the United States Foreign Investment Commission, led by the United States Department of the Treasury, because it may obtain a large amount of user data through investment games companies. At the end of the previous mandate, Trump threatened to ban the Twitter version of WeChat overseas. At the beginning of his second term, the call was classified as a “military-industrial enterprise”. In January 2025, a series of foreign trade policies adopted by Trump led to a sharp fall in telecommunication stock prices. It is not clear whether the discussions of the Trump Government on the placard are merely a bluff or whether Trump has acted in a determined manner. The Trump Government had previously postponed Congress ‘ s legislation to shut off TikTok on a number of occasions, and had instead planned a deal led by Oracle for the acquisition of the byte jump of the United States investor consortium.

The United States tech giant Oracle Group is led by Larry Erison, whose son, David Erison, has recently been gradually acquiring many traditional media companies in Hollywood. With the support of Trump, it is not yet clear whether the arraignment will be similarly forced to sell Riot Gomes to the expanding Allison Foundation.
