According to Gamesindustry, the Turkish mobile game company Good Job Gomes announced the successful completion of round A financing of $60 million (approximately RMB 432 million). This financing brought the total to $83 million in less than six months.

According to corporate press releases, the current round of financing was co-sponsored by Menlo Ventures and Anthos Capital, with Bessemer Venture Partners. This round of A finance is only six months away from the company’s last round of financing, when it received $23 million in investment in the seeder.

Good Job Gomes plans to use the funds raised to promote the global expansion of its free trifling puzzle game, Match Villains, and to work “to create an intergenerational entertainment brand by creating a permanent, socially driven game”.

The company’s founder and CEO, Ilker Ilicali, stated: “Match 3 is already the largest in the field of mobile games, but the best in this category has not yet arrived. Through Match Villains, our mission is to create the most entertaining modern game of the market.”

“We have seen positive user feedback and excellent data performance, and we are very excited and confident about what we are building — All of this is due to our excellent team of world-class talent, our commitment to perfection and our strong drive for continuous improvement.”

Just early this month, another Turkish mobile game company, Circle Gomes, also received $7.25 million in the latest round of financing. The funds will be used to support the ongoing development of its current project, Sort Express, and the development of unpublished new games.
